What makes you qualified to teach childbirth education classes?

I was trained by Birth Arts International and completed my certification in 2025. This certification process required 200+ hours of coursework, material creation, teaching a preliminary class, submitting several book summaries, and then taking a certification test. I also have information from MamasteFit, birth doula training from DONA, and my background as a Board-Certified Women’s Clinical Specialist Physical Therapist.

How often do you have classes?

Classes will be held every 2-3 months per location. I will be alternating locations between Oklahoma City and Bartlesville at this time. My goals are to add additional classes in the OKC Metro area in 2026. Expect some 3-part courses soon!

Does insurance cover childbirth education classes?

Some insurances do! I can fill out an insurance reimbursement form for you after the class that you can submit to your insurance company. This is only done upon request.

What about your Birth Doula services?

I offer Birth Doula services to a few clients per year. I only assist a few women per year due to working full-time and wanting to ensure that I can provide quality time to each client. Reach out via the contact window and I can send you a list of available services and schedule a consultation.
